Research Opportunities
Students and residents sometimes ask how to become involved in departmental research. Whether an opportunity exists at any given moment depends on several factors:
- Which projects are currently active in the department.
- Institutional requirements, including research training and any human-subjects approvals a project requires.
- Review and approval by the relevant institutional committees before work begins.
- Faculty capacity to supervise and mentor additional learners.
- Learner eligibility, including program stage and academic standing.
