Research Opportunities

Students and residents sometimes ask how to become involved in departmental research. Whether an opportunity exists at any given moment depends on several factors:

  • Which projects are currently active in the department.
  • Institutional requirements, including research training and any human-subjects approvals a project requires.
  • Review and approval by the relevant institutional committees before work begins.
  • Faculty capacity to supervise and mentor additional learners.
  • Learner eligibility, including program stage and academic standing.
