Every page is plain HTML, CSS, and a small amount of JavaScript that runs in your browser. The JavaScript operates the menu, scores the quiz, and triggers printing. It has no ability to send information anywhere.

What this website does, in plain language.
The Short Version
This is a static website. It is a set of files that your browser downloads and displays. It has no database, no accounts, and no code of its own running on the server.
That means the website itself does not collect, store, or transmit anything you type into it. It does not set cookies, and it does not run analytics or tracking scripts.
It does not follow that nothing is recorded anywhere. Web servers keep their own logs, and any link you follow takes you somewhere with its own rules. The sections below explain both.

Each item describes the situation as this website is currently built. If any of this changes, this page must be updated at the same time.
The quiz and worksheets
Answers to the knowledge check are compared in your browser and discarded when you leave or reset the page. Text you type into the reflection activity and the professional development planner is never saved or sent. If you want to keep it, print the page or save it as a PDF.
Server logs
The web server that hosts these files may keep standard access logs recording things such as IP addresses, dates and times, requested pages, and browser details. That is normal hosting behavior and it is outside this website's code. The hosting provider's retention and use of those logs is governed by their policies and by the university's agreement with them.
Cookies
This website does not set any cookies. Because no cookies are used, no cookie banner is shown. If cookies are ever added, this page and the site must be updated before that happens.
Analytics
No analytics service is configured. Nothing counts your visit, tracks your movement between pages, or builds a profile of you. If analytics are added later, this section must be rewritten to name the service and describe what it collects.
Embedded media
There is no embedded third-party media on this site: no video players, no maps, no social media widgets, no external fonts, and no content loaded from other servers. All images, styles, and scripts are served from this website itself.
External links
This site links to other organizations, such as the College of Dental Medicine, professional associations, journals, and PubMed. Once you follow one of those links you are on a different website, and what it collects is governed by its own privacy policy, not this one.
The contact form
The form on the contact page is disabled and connected to nothing. If an approved external form service is added later, this notice must be updated first to name the service, describe what it collects, and explain how long it keeps submissions.
Health Information
Please do not send personal health information, dental records, radiographs, clinical photographs, treatment questions about yourself, or urgent concerns through this website or in an email prompted by it.
This website is an educational resource. It is not a patient portal, it is not a secure channel for protected health information, and it is not monitored for emergencies. For patient care, contact the College of Dental Medicine's patient services directly, as described on the contact page.
Records held by the College of Dental Medicine about actual patient care are governed by the university's own privacy practices and by applicable law, not by this notice.
Children
This website is aimed at dental students, residents, faculty, practicing clinicians, and adults seeking general educational information. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
